A.G. Gaston Construction Company, Inc. (GASTON) was founded in 1984 when Dr. A. G. Gaston, at the request of the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District (HABD), was asked to participate in a pilot program. As part of this pilot program, GASTON combined renovations of several HABD properties with job training in the construction trades for the residents. The program and the renovation work was very successful, with many resident trainees promptly graduating to employment in the construction field.

Today, GASTON operates primarily as a provider of Total Program/Construction Management services with diverse support capabilities to execute a project from inception through project close-out and final review. We have built our reputation by providing top quality work-in-place, state-of-the-art cost and schedule controls, improved coordination, and superior documentation and defense against claims.
